Water Water Everywhere

A few weeks ago I had a hose from my kitchen island sink split and I woke up to 3-4 inches of water through almost my entire home. Luckily my bedroom and master bathroom were spared from the water making its way to that part of my home. As I was sweeping the many gallons of water out of my home, I was actually shocked that the only thing that got water damaged was an area rug in my great room.
